Among the various national parks ,wildlife santuries and tiger reserves Tadoba Andhari tiger reserve is unmatched in diversity and a facinating tourist destination.It is among the emerging place as far as tiger sighting and tourists visiting destination is concern. Tadoba , kolsa and mohurly range uniteddly forms TATR named after river Andhari that flows across. With the wide variety of mammals,avians,amphibians and reptiles tadoba puts a rocking impact on the wildlife tourism in the recent years.The wildlife in the park is represented by Tiger , leopard ,wild dog , sambhar, spotted deer, crocodile etc.TATR is basically a dry decidious forest extending from dispersed grasslands to the dense bamboo forest where photographer fulfills their desire. Beside tigers one can feel the natures beauty and its glory by the eye soothing views in the park.
Best time to visit - Tadoba is the park which is not closed during rainy season. Park is open all year except tuesday in a week. Ovearall best time is from FEB to MID JUNE to enjoy the wildlife near waterbodies
Where to stay - It very inconvinient to manage tourist accomodation specially in peak season since there are only two resorts to stay of which MTDC (Maharashtra tourism devlopment corp.) is the best one in Moharly. So this wil be better to ask anybody about availability of rooms before planning your tour. Resorts are in a good condition and their rates never varry with the season.

Getting there - Chandrapur (Maharashtra) is the nearest railhead and a town place where from one can hire any vehicle to reach Moharly which is 25 Km. from Chandrapur
